Kathleen's is our favorite neighborhood restaurant. Excellent food, excellent service.

Delicious lunch with daughter n grandson. Cute kids menu. Great Cobb salad n pumpkin bread. My turkey croissant sandwich n NE clam chowder yummy. Nice atmosphere &excellent service! Great coffee. $$ will go on flush days...so nice!

Friendly atmosphere, a good place to go for typical American homestyle food.

I would have liked some garlic aioli for my sweet potato fries, or something other than ketchup. The food was delicious, service was quick and staff was friendly.

Google maps really let me down by only allowing reviewers to give a maximum of 5 stars. Kathleen’s deserves at the very least a 12 out of 5 star rating. Everything about this fine establishment is perfect! From the friendly, funny (and cant forget good looking) staff to the amazing food served here, this is by far my favourite restaurant! During my last visit I had the pleasure of ordering a chicken parmesan casserole/ pasta dish thing. AND IT WAS TO DIE FOR! I will definitely be coming back here for a long long time!

We love this place! The food is excellent and the service in great. You really feel like you are a part of the Pasadena family when you dine here.

Great grilled chic salad

Atmosphere was pleasant. Food was okay. I shared their eggs benedict with Husband and they charged $7 to split plate. Eggs cooked perfect. Lunch meet ham :( and sauce was bland. French Onion soup was lacking fullness in flavor. Zucchini bread was off. Tasted like spice bread. Waitress was friendly enough. Bathrooms too small. Bus boy tried to clear a plate that wasn't finished and actually touched plate. Yuck. Oh but only a dollar for mimosas!

Excellent quality and attention to detail. The staff is great and effieient. All the baked goods are way above average. The fresh made soups are among my favorite items and the salmon salad is my go to for lunch.

Been coming here for years. Nice, homey feeling with the owner coming to your table to make sure everything is ok. Today it's spinach fettuccini with chicken which is creamy good and delicious. I have always had the best meals here. Good deal and reasonably priced for the quality of food.

Kathleen's has been our "go to" spot in Pasadena for years. The quality is great and Kathleen and her staff make a visit here like home. All of the baked items are exceptional and the holidays bring all the favorites. My personal favorite item on the menu is grilled salmon on a bed of salad greens with tomatoes and capers. The entire menu is great.

Good, tasty, down to earth yummy food, good portion size and if you can't fit in a dessert then take home some of their delish home made baked goods.

We were out looking for a good place for a late breakfast. Every place we went had a long line. We accidentally found Kathleen's. What a treat. Great service & food! $1 mimosas on the first round. Great coffee. Check this place out!

Charming little diner in Pasadena. They had fresh yellow tulips on the table! Everything sounded so good! I arrived 15-20 minutes before they closed but they treated me like I was the first guest of the night and they didn't rush to get me to leave, which seems like not a big deal but is still very generous. I ordered a glass of wine and some French Onion soup. It came with a basket of warm, crusty bread which was a nice suprise. Also, the butter pallets were not rock solid from being in the fridge. They were room temp and this is such a little thing, but it made all the difference because it was spreadable. It's always the little things, right? I wish I could have ordered everything on the menu. The prices are a little steep but I actually felt it was worth it because of the excellent service and quality. The service was wonderful. I will absolutely be back here, no question.

Lunch was delicious. We also bought their cinnamon cream cheese bread, which is delicious. This is a lovely, not too pretentious restaurant great for a quick high quality meal.

How I've never been here in the 28 years I've lived in Pasadena, I'll never know... But now that I have I can tell I'll be a frequent visitor. First off the bathroom is adorable, do you see this sink?!! That's just the nastolgic designer in me. Of course the hot chocolate was adorable too. A full mug of whipped cream & a warm little pot of chocolate to pour over. I devoured the cream of zucchini before I remembered to take a pic but it was delicious. Dad & I shared the Reuben, SO tender, yummy sauerkraut, and the Cole slaw side dad didn't let me have any... Too good! I now understand why it's been here for more than 35 years... See you so soon.

The homemade bread and muffins are so gooood! Also the water/coffee attendant was awesome!

Great place for breakfast or brunch. Try their homemade blueberry muffins. Friendly wait staff. Always eat here when we visit Pasadena.

This place is a Hidden Gem. Don't be thrown off by the all the old people that eat their ther. Wait maybe I'm one of them. Well this place is ripe for becoming popular with the young folks. It's been around a long time and there's good reason why.

Reliable, a little dingy at this point. Prices are beginning to seem a little high.

First time eating at Kathleen's and found it very good from the first greeting to the wait staff. Nice menu options which were nicely plated and very tasty. Fun bread options like walnut pumpkin too.On par pricewise with places like Green Street. A solid plus over Green Street are the breakfast potatoes. A very good mix of potatoes and onions!This first visit will not be the last.

Good food and service

Amazing establishment. We had the reception for my late grandmother's interment here. Kathleen was sensitive to our needs and helped to ease my parents worries and the stress of planning a funeral that would be 4 hours away from their home in north of fresno. Our party of around 20 people including 5 children happened to be significantly early AND KATHLEEN WAS READY FOR US!♥ Overall the service was beyond what we could have received anywhere else, regardless of cost.The food here is amazing. A wide variety of cuisine and all done exceptionally! The prices are reasonable, especially for the quality of the food. I had the pleasure of dining here twice in the two days I was in the area. Thank you Kathleen's for helping make a potentially somber day into a true celebration of life for my family, and for me. † ★Thank You★ †
